The 13th International Workshop on Combinatorial Image Analysis IWCIA'09 was held in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, November 24-27, 2009. Playa del Carmen is situated on the northeast coast of the Yucatan peninsula, Quintana Roo State, at the south of Cancun. The conference took place in the Hotel "IberoStar Quetzal".
